The short answer

VISIBLE keeps your Google profile working, asks every customer for an honest Google review, fixes the faults on your website that stop it being found, and shows you each month what moved. It does not promise a ranking or a star rating, because nobody honestly can.

Your Google profile, run for you

Google says a profile with complete and accurate information is more likely to show up in local search, and that relevance, distance and prominence decide who appears ³. We set your profile up properly, then keep it current: posts so it looks active, opening hours that match when you actually answer, categories that match the jobs you want, and replies to the reviews you receive.

REPUTATION: every customer asked, honestly

REPUTATION is the review part of VISIBLE. Your past customers, from a list you give us or from your bookings, and every new customer after a job, are emailed a short request for a Google review. If they do not respond, they get one reminder, then we stop. Every customer is asked, not only the happy ones, and nobody is offered anything in return, because Google forbids both: its policy says a business must not "selectively solicit positive reviews" or offer incentives "in exchange for posting any review" ¹. That is the line between building a reputation and risking your profile.

Why reviews matter more than anything else here

97% of consumers read online reviews before choosing a local business, and a growing share will only use a business rated 4.5 stars or above ². Fresh reviews count too: the same survey found old reviews carry less weight. A steady flow of honest reviews is the most direct thing VISIBLE does for the number of people who call you.

Fake reviews, triaged and reported

If a review looks fake, a competitor, a stranger who was never a customer, a burst of one star reviews in a day, we look at it, tell you what we think, and report it to Google through its own process. Google's policy says fake engagement is not allowed and will be removed ¹. We cannot remove a review ourselves and will never tell you we can; we make sure Google sees the case properly.

The review card, free

Every VISIBLE client gets a Google review card posted to them, normally £19.99. A customer taps it with their phone, or scans it, and lands straight on your review form. It is the fastest way to ask in person, at the end of a job, without making anyone search for you.

Faults on your website, fixed rather than listed

Each month we check your site for the faults that stop pages being found: broken links, missing or duplicated page titles, pages that tell Google they are copies of something else, structured data that has stopped working. Most providers send you a list. Because we built and host your site, we put them right. This part only applies to a website FORGE built; on any other site we report the faults instead.

Your details, the same everywhere

Your business name, address and phone are checked wherever we can read them, and we keep a register of where you appear: confirmed where we can check it, recorded where we cannot. Details that disagree make it harder for Google to be sure the listings are all you.

The report, and what VISIBLE does not do

Each month you get the searches you appear for and your position in each, your clicks and impressions over time so you can see what is fading, and what we did. VISIBLE does not promise a ranking, a number of reviews or a star rating, and it does not write new pages for you. It keeps what you have working, and makes sure every customer is asked.
